For over 30 years, Alex Gow Funerals has been a trusted name in the Redlands community, providing compassionate and professional funeral services. In 1994, we became the first family-owned funeral company to establish a presence in the region, opening our office in Middle Street, Cleveland. Now, as we continue our commitment to the community, we are proud to announce the introduction of our new modern funeral facility at Thornlands. Our new facility, Redlands Crematorium and Memorial Gardens is set on 26 acres at 156 Woodlands Drive, Thornlands, and is a peaceful and welcoming space where families can honour their loved ones in a serene environment. Construction is now complete, and we are now fully operational, offering use of this exceptional facility to the Redlands community and the surrounding regions.

The new Alex Gow Funerals, Redlands facility is thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of every family. Our modern, air-conditioned chapel seats up to 140 guests and is filled with natural light. Behind the catafalque, large glass windows offer breathtaking views towards Moreton Bay and North Stradbroke Island, providing a tranquil setting for reflection and remembrance. For larger services, we offer overflow areas to accommodate additional attendees.

Following the service, family and friends are welcome to gather in our fully catered refreshment lounge where they can share memories over a meal and a drink. We also offer two arrangement rooms for funeral planning and pre-planning, as well as a dedicated viewing room where families can spend quiet moments with their loved ones before the service.

We are committed to providing a special environment for visitors to remember their loved ones and quietly reflect on times past.

Our office is open between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday, and the grounds are open to visitors every day.
